One should note that the above memorial, i.e. the large marker adorning the wall, commemorates all of the Czech Jews deported during the Nazi occupation, not just those deported from Prague. Jews from outside of Prague were deported from cities and towns near where they resided at the time of their transportation to Theresienstadt and other ghettos and camps of the period.

Prague...
Under the control of the occupying Nazi regime, approximately 50,000 Czech Jews were sent to their deaths from the Prague-Bubny railway station. Known as The Memorial of Silence - named due to the silence of the city as thousands upon thousands of people walked through on their fateful journey to Theresienstadt and other destinations including the extermination facilities of the East, the central feature of the exhibition is the towering Gate of Infinity, a structure designed by Aleš Veselý and completed in 2014. The monument itself stands on the exact spot where transports left Prague, taking their human cargo on one final, ultimate journey.
Wow that'a a very dramatic memorial, it'll certainly grab peoples attention!...
