Hi Carl , excuse my ignorance but was there a camp associated with this memorial or was this an area that the SS "liquidated" as such? Leon.

The memorial commemorates the residents of the surrounding area who died.
The link kindly supplied by bboywizard mentions Adolf Taussig - the memorial marker shown above notes four Taussig family members who all died during 1942, including a young boy named Jindřich who was aged 11/12 years and Věra, a teenager.

Yes Leon, I agree regarding the commemorative markers on display. One of the good things about this country is that plenty of recognition is shown for such events and the victims, something we can all learn by.
