Thanks again Michel - another well presented thread showing a fine memorial. As I mentioned to you earlier, of particluar note is the list of camps engraved in stone above the doorway - visible in the sixth image from the top of your original post. The name of the camp "Ellrich" was notable due to the fact that two of the satellite camps of KZ-Mittelbau-Dora were located in this village, the largest being Außenlager Ellrich-Juliushütte, which was actually the biggest of all Mittelbau-Dora sub-camps. Ellrich was an abhorent place and the scene of thousands of deaths. I addressed the site in the thread below and also assisted with a French project last year, which was organised by a relative of a victim who died at the camp.
