Well, this kind of topic can slip very fast.
And words goes faster than mind on internet.
As mod on platform, i know being mod is not an easy job.
Sometimes mood or topic can let the human being speak before THE LAW

Thanks to all mods to do a nice job.

Bloody hell, I wish I'd kept me mouth shut now....

Chin up Larry, no harm was intended, and as for the rest of you lot, don't worry about me becoming a mod as it don't go with my cool persona as a man of the people....

Plus it wouldn't be 5 minutes before I got "airbrushed" by our dear leader.

Don't beat yourself up over it Larry. You did delete a post of mine in that thread which I thought was a little harsh but I wasn't going to lose any sleep over it. You're still a decent chap in my book!

Over the years, I have been asked on different forums to be a mod.
I even was one for a short while. I discovered that I do not have the
right temperament for it. I take things a bit too personally.

I think the mods on this forum do an excellent job. That's one of the
reasons this is such a nice place to hang out.--Larry, keep up the good work.

Larry i honestly don't know what events took place to bring on this apology as i haven't followed the thread link you provided and i don't intend too either, what i would like to state though is whatever happened you are still a respected member and moderator here ,perhaps it was your honest and level headed thoughts on different matters that made me warm to you ,so i can understand how difficult it must be to have both hands tied behind your back whilst balancing on that moderating fence
    thanks james
