He was definitely responsible for a lot of evil deeds in Poland.

That's the guy! all this time we've just taken it for granted it was Goeth. The scene of the hanging in the Schindlers list film is different as they kick a stool out from under his legs, Spielberg had a reputation of being as authentic as possible in the film.

One i forgot, this house used to be the SS barracks just outside the camp main gate.

This building, often referred to as "The Grey House", was not the SS accommodation block. It was actually the prison building - the basement contained the "bunker". One of very few original structures to have survived from the period, it is often mistaken for Göth's former residence.

Be careful which "tour" you select. You may well find yourself taken to the old movie set nearby...and not the actual former camp location. A recent post on the thread linked below addresses the issue:
