RAD = always a great subject.
Here my contribution, as most of the photographs shown in various of these posts here
at the forum, one can find in volume 5 for "Headgear of Hitler's Germany".
Here shown the January 1937 description and detailed drawings, which were an addendum
to the "Verordnungsblatt für den Reichsarbeitsdienst", number 33 from February 16, 1937.
Maybe one already has seen them elsewhere, as I have supplied them to some authors years ago,
writing articles for a magazine in France and elsewhere.
I also do have the full 1939 description from the handbook, but there were no detailed drawings with it.

RAD, always a great subject to cover and show material.
One of my favorite organizations.
But why taken photos from released books and not credit
them properly, as for example post 16, which is a Johnson-
photo. Or post 11 which is a photo from one of my books,
where it is credited as Klubert.

Hi Wim...sometimes that credit can not be found when these photos have been copied many times over and landed on multi search engines ..its hard to track down originally where they came from.
I do fully agree with you that where credit is due..it should be honored.
