Compliments of our own WRF member and author Wilhelm Saris...another rare photo look into the wear of the SS dagger. Photographed are Thugs and Monsters..who gave fear a new name..called the SS. Take notice to the SS officer with the fully exposed dagger. It is very rare to ever identify a particularly produced dagger..in a black and white photo.
According to the curvatures of the crossguards..this dagger IMO leans towards being an Eickhorn producer or even more horrifying a Wilhelm Kober Rohm dedication dagger.
Both Eickhorn and Kober have exhibited these "rocking horse " type crossguards.
