    Klinger,

I have looked at the site that you have mentioned and to be honest, I do not like the photo of the one listed on the website as it is impossible to establish any kind of detail from the pic provided.

I must have filed the pics of the one that I have seen previously, but I will keep looking.
thanks for your help as i really like to know if this one is real too (all the rest of the lot wher it was in is real so hopefully this too)

The Tyr Rune for the Reichsfuehrerschule was an SA insignia also used by the SS. See the Organisationsbuch der NSDAP on this point.

No, I am sorry. Ask Bob Coleman, as he is my very most skilled SA expert.

There must be other experts in SA material here, too. Surely this badge was worn on the black SS uniform, Wolff being one personage, but I have never seen an original example. Others here surely have. Good luck.

Allgemeine-SS Reichsfuhrerschule arrow emblem Not in evidence here. I think once the SA was downgraded, the badge faded away.

Slightly off-topic, but perhaps of interest nonetheless: It is indeed generally accepted that the Tyr-Rune insigne was only to be worn on the black service uniform. Here is an image (the only one that I am aware of) showing its wear on the grey tunic:
