but i've other SS object in my collecting
only collar tabs (bevo, totenkopf and prinz eugen )and one poor cufftitle of the LAH (bevo)with an ss dagger mdl 33
i post soon my collecting of SS !
but i'm not a specialist to allgemeine and in France we dont have many spécialist but only crook !
its the french culture!

In case you are interested in an authentic cap at a more or less realistic price, look at the piece on Bruce Herman's Grenadier militaria site. It is a real, actually issued piece.

I would not be overly critical of your own nation, surely. The dishonest militaria dealers are to be found in all the nations of North America and Europe, in fact. But there are a handful of honest ones, and there is some expertise in SS regalia on this site, actually.

It is also good for us to practice our French, too, in fact. 2500 Euros is still a lot of money. Best of luck in your search.
