Our competition cannot offer such expert analysis. A fact that deserves recognition, especially as certain persons recently suggested that this site was inferior to another.

This item is ex the Mollo collection, and I actually have some evidence of its provenance.

Over time, I have seen many bogus cases of items sold ex Mollo.

In these two cases in this thread, however, the items apparently are ex the property of the great prophet.

Here are few more images of the former Hotel Potter.

The late hotel was constructed on the site of what was called the Burton Mound. It is the same site of the Chumash village of Syukhtun which was encountered by Cabrillo on his expedition of exploration.


To bring this topic to a more relevant conclusion just up the road some few miles are the Ellwood oil fields that were shelled by the Japanese.
