Article about: There is a person claiming this SS Tab came from Andrew Mollo's collection. The only reason I bring this to the members attention as I know some of you have been collecting a long time. And

Andrew Mollo SS TabDavid Delich says:

"...Yes, I recognize this tab, as Mollo sent me a photocopy
of it years ago, but never said it was availaable. He
forever and a day prefered to TRADE instead of sell,
so I never did end up with it. He finally reached the
point of being willing to sell things, but only AFTER
he had disposed of this particular piece. Yes, it
    definitely is an original piece.
See the two specimens I own in the attachment. One
    is the standard rayon/silk machine-embroidery (M15)
and the other is hand-embroidered white/cream-colored
    cord (M10). ..."

and he sent me this wonderful image, so wonderful and so well suited for a new year of inquiry.

We thank our master and someone should buy the tab, as it is pretty rare in its own right.

Our competition cannot offer such expert analysis. A fact that deserves recognition, especially as certain persons recently suggested that this site was inferior to another.

Over time, I have seen many bogus cases of items sold ex Mollo.

In these two cases in this thread, however, the items apparently are ex the property of the great prophet.

Certain persons are misinformed. This is the only site where knowledge is shared. Bad mouthing from the other site is the normal course it seems.

I send my thanks to FB and Mr. Delich as well as best wishes for the new year.

Thanks to you, dear colleague, for all your fine citizenship and scholarship in the year past. Onward in a happy new year to new arcane facts about foetid woolens in pleasant company.

And, with your hotel in Santa Barbara, California, USA, these images of San Francisco, California, USA and otherwise of California in a certain fashion. Andrew Mollo SS Tab

Here are few more images of the former Hotel Potter.

The late hotel was constructed on the site of what was called the Burton Mound. It is the same site of the Chumash village of Syukhtun which was encountered by Cabrillo on his expedition of exploration.
