I do not like them at all.

Ok thought these looked off...seems like outside this forum and fine dealer sites everything else is suspect/repro
No chance pretty low quality just compare them with some of the other examples always good to make sure
Would have been to good to be true in one lot. Thanks for the help!
Anzel a word of advice. In fact several.
First off, the top cuff title is not SS. It is for the Heer's premier Division, Großdeutschland. This really should have been posted in the Heer uniforms and insignia forum. Always best to post one item at a time only. This way the thread title will fully respect the thread content. From this thread title it could be anything......Make it accurate.
Secondly, at least nine out of ten items of SS insignia on the market today WILL be fake. Trust me! Most stuff IS suspect especially that offered at low prices outside of specialist trustworthy dealers sites. It is there to catch the unwary and the bargain hunter. Bargains today are very rare. But the upset and heartache are not rare at all!
All items shown are bad.
Cheers, Ade.

Greetings. It needs to be a steep learning curve for beginners to avoid the ripoffs that lurk in the SS market. Ebay is 99.999% fake/repro. Many TR and WW2 dealers seem to have mix of good and bad when it comes to SS. Three dealers I trust - Bill, Peter and Bruce, but no-ones perfect and find that they are also the most professional and courteous in their communications. Dodgy dealers will communicate like used car salesmen. Some dealers may have general knowledge and simply lack the expertise on SS that this site posseses, with contributers like Adrian, Bob C. and F.B. among many others who come to our help with little in return other than our appreciation. They probably know the old adage too well: "you can lead a horse to water but you cant make it drink". Cheers, Paul
Adrian, thanks for your reply. I apologize for posting the Wehrmacht cuff title with SS cuff title. Actually, I should say posting the junk. I am very cautious about purchases and obviously I will pass on these. I have been lucky to pick up a few SS items years ago that proved to be authentic. As I have said in the past, I value this forum and its many contributors especially the ones you mentioned Paul. Uncovering authentic SS items is well to continue with the theme of old adages ... "Like finding a needle in a haystack". Best of luck! Anzel
