Black SS breeches- some

Greetings. Sorry for the delay, Ive been away. I did buy these breeches and haggled to a purchase price of 8/14 of the original price. I was happy with the price and moreso with the quality and condition of the breeches. I had not previously purchased from this dealer but its a more than satisfactory outcome. Thanks Dr CMH for your considerations and your attached displayed items. Perhaps "haggle" is too strong a word. I made an offer and the seller accepted it. I quoted to the seller a frequently used line from this site: " buy the item not the story". cheers

Well done, Sir. It is good to hear the Breeches are of good quality and in a decent state of preservation. I am spending the evening going over the details of a tunic while accompanied by a period book for tailors to make some connections between expert tailoring of the era and what is in hand.
