Perhaps someone added the 1942, which I can easily understand, but you will tell me.
I am not without experience in such picture research, but I have great faith in Bunde. He is a real pro.
The above document is from the time when the Postschutz had come under the control of the SS (after May 1942) and its personnel wore SS uniforms and insignia.
Postschutz personnel in the occupied territories were authorized to wear the field grey uniform, while those serving within the Reich wore the black service dress. (The latter was particularly unpopular.)
When I'am correct, I have seen the same document in the book:
"Postschutz und Postluftschutz im Dritten Reich und den
besetzten Gebieten" by Michael Schweizer, published in
2014 in Germany! Or was it in another book?
For those interested in Postschutz the mentioned book is a MUST!
Even if you cannot read German, it is of great value.
