I wish I could have worked out my foetid woolen problem with reproductions. Such has not been the case.

It would not do, really, to wear real uniforms in said vehicles because of wear and tear.

I had a Horch command car offered to me in Germany in the early 1980s, but despaired of ever finding the spare parts in CONUS. I was also offered a wonderful 1977 Porsche 911S, too, for seven thousand dollars, but I did not buy it, either.

Our UK friend can buy the Jacques Littlefield collection when it is broken up presently.

Gents, I would also recommend "Inside the Allgemeine SS, 1925-1945" by Ulric of England. Great book with lots of detail and well worth the price.

I just got the new book by the Englishman. I also found it to be worthwhile for anyone interested in black SS uniforms. I have seen many of the period photos and pieces on forums and in other books but the layout and explanation with large color photos makes this book easier to read and digest than Mollo. However Mollo seems to be the english lang. standard for this topic and should be required reading. This forum is the best site for seeing original material in cyberland. Many thanks to those who share and teach!

All RZM textiles were to be stamped every meter or so, and this is such a stamp not in a piece I own.
The RZM production regulations describe this stamp in detail and the RZM circulars give many examples of various tags and stamps for bolts of textiles in their variety.

I will have to re-visit the RZM circulars. My enthusiasm for study has waned over the past year or so though. Maybe something will kick start it again in 2013.
