Apparently this brown ribbon derby, as it were, was Weber's innovation.

Unfortunately no. It is banned to refer to the Holocaust on any mod for the game. I have thought about this a lot. Growing up (not sure how it is today) I was hit over the head about the Holocaust and how bad the Nazi's were. Other than hating the Jews they never said what the Nazi believed. I bet I could go onto my local college campus and get many signatures in support of a National Socialist Workers club, but none for a Nazi club. This is why I mostly stopped using Nazi and use National Socialist. I fully agree about your "schoener Schein" of the III. Reich and wish to teach people the signs so they can see it if it starts again. So I think people can learn much and in some ways the most important things without going into the Holocaust (that part I hope they already know).

The next time it most likely not be about race or Jews, but some other cause that drive the darkness. We are seeing the growing of the far-right (not the right) in places like Greece. The next darkness may not be only from the far-right.

Nazi and national socialist are the same term. If you are interested in the tenets of Nazi ideology in a way beyond computer games, I'd be happy to recommend things for you to read.

That is, to read for the purposes of historical understanding and not for the propagation of ideology. This is a site devoted to regalia, not to the promotion of politics of hate and violence. In fact, the site is apolitical altogether.

Basically it is thanking Weber on the occasion of the 5th Brown Ribbon Event for his outstanding services to German Racing and thoroughbred breeding.
Dated 31 July, 1938 from the Board of Trustees.
HPL will no doubt provide us with one of his infinitely more elegant translations but that's the gist of it from what I read.
    Spot on. It translates as:

"To the president of the board of trustees for the Brown Ribbon of Germany

    Christian Weber

on the occasion of the 5th holding of the Brown Ribbon, which he had created, and in recognition of his extraordinary merits in the interest of furthering German horseracing and the breeding of German thoroughbreds

    Munich,
Hauptstadt der Bewegung* 31 July 1938

The members of the board of trustees for the Brown Ribbon of Germany

Hello Ganer.... you posted some good material a few posts ago..but I have to warn not to leave the path of this thread and the original intent of when it was started..and about who....including the TR personalities that surrounded Weber. Please do not let this thread go into a direction of NS doctrine.
Some threads tend to do this after a while..and go of balance...but I am here to "Keep it in balance" Other than that..it has been quite educational.

The Inspekteur der SS-Reitschulen, as well as the SS-Hauptreitschule or the SS-Reitschule Forst
were all direcly assigned to the SS-Hauptamt. See "Organisationsbuch der NSDAP"-scedules, issues from
    1936, 1937 and 1938.

see the above scedules for specific information!
In 1936 the school was phrased as SS-Reiterschule; later as SS-Reitschule (for both a cuffband was mentioned in the
Mitteilungsblatt der RZM; 1937 the SS-Reitschule and SS-Hauptreitschule; 1938 the SS-Reitschule no longer was
included, but the Inspekteur der SS-Reitschulen was (also directly assigned to the SS-Hauptamt).
The related cuffbands were largely worn by staff and permanent personal.
Some cuffbands were allowed to be worn as a secondary band, as for example the cuffband SS-Hauptreitschule München.
This second band was allowed to be worn by men and leaders from mounted units, that by orders from the RFSS were incorporated
within tournament- and riding-match units from the RFSS (Turnier- und Renngemeinschaft der RFSS).
