i don't know much about wraps but what i can see its a fake or it was never issued
tom
If it was real and they were serious about selling it, they would have posted very detailed pics of every part of it, so one crappy picture says to me that it's fake.

Whatever its just an opinion.
This is the description from the online listing
Third Reich - A Rare Waffen-SS Panzer Wrap-over, printed in the Erbstarn pattern camouflage, with metal buttons, the interior with reinforcements and part silk lining, size and date stamped `45`.
In their defence it is one of 409 lots but yes they could do more for their commission
nah im not buying that me thinks its a fake anyone worth there salt would take a lot of pictures
sorry
tom
ps think about it these go in the £10000s of pounds mark
Follow the link see what you think, its a reputable auction house
Dreweatts 1759 :: Bristol
that cannot be reputable a lot of the stuff on there is fake and bad ones at that then the prices are way off eg tr flak badge,assualt badge and gold wound badge for £80 they know they are selling crap
tom
I think tom is right on the money, so to speak.
I've just searched their website with 'Waffen SS' and it turned up a Sumpftarn parka which clearly wasn't W-SS. I would have thought that an auction house holding a Militaria auction would be able to properly describe an item they are selling. Maybe they just take the seller's word for what it is?
It is a fake. The camo print is wrong and so is the cut of the jacket.
Cheers, Ade.
