An image of a cap attributed to a member of SSVT 2 "Germania" that is, other than the name of the original owner, marked in a similar fashion to the black service caps one normally encounters. There are, of course, some caps that are heavily marked. FB has a few of these, although, they are not the norm.

I would add that, while items in our readers collections are theirs and they may do as they wish, I am pleading that no one disassemble their caps to look for these markings. Let these images serve as reference and leave your items as they came to you.
