    Has anyone seen any photos of the Finnish SS Btl wearing this sleeve shield ?
    The gates of hell were opened and we accepted the invitation to enter" 26/880 Lance Sgt, Edward Dyke. 26th Bn Northumberland Fusiliers , ( 3rd Tyneside Irish )

    I think it's from a 1920's armband, but that it was glued on during wartime. You can never know for sure tho.
