I did look Adrian. So are you saying the edge weave is bad? as it does look correct .

Thx I read Ades thread on cuff titles , the LAH looked similar to another that was posted that was good, but my eyes arent what they used to be , thanks again for your input I appreciate all your opinions

Hi Eric, that weave is indeed wrong. The key to these is the white edging on the back of the title. On originals, it is a series of evenly sized white dots. The fake which you show illustrates this well. These have a series of uneven large then small dots and dashes. Think of it a bit like a heart monitor signal. If it looks like that, it is bad.

Here is an original. Easy to spot the difference now I think?

In hand, the fake will be modern synthetic thread and not rayon.
