Another obscure piece of the NS puzzle coming forth. In small increments the truth continues to piece together what has never been known or seen by the collecting community..not even a thought of..which no history book seems to exude...until now. To reiterate whats already been stated and add some more information, the NCO Schalburg cuff band is machine woven in the BeVo style. The obverse and reverse has off-white woven wording and borders on black rayon material. The Schalburg cuff band was worn by Staff, NCO School, Guard Co and Landstormen of the Schalburg Corps.

It was awarded to SS-Unterscharführer Hans Hansen of the 14th SS-Pz.Gren.Rgt. 24 Danmark

Some more information:
"The cadre of the of SS Panzer Grenadier Regiment 24 "Danmark" was provided from the surviving troops from some of the already existing Germanic units in the Waffen SS: Freikorps Danmark and the SS Infanterie Regiment "Nordland" Almost every volunteers from Nordschleswig, who had served in the Infanterie Regiment "Nordland" were tranfered to this unit in 1943.
SS Panzer Grenadier Regiment 24 "Danmark" saw action almost from day one, as it along with the rest of the III. Germanische SS Panzer Korps was transfered to Croatia few months after the establisment in May 1943 in Grafenwöhr. In Croatia the regiment was heavily engaged in the fightings against partisans in the areas around the cities Petrinja and Glina.
The SS Panzer Grenadier Regiment 24 "Danmark" was attached to the 11. Freiwilligen Panzer Grenadier Division "Nordland" throughout the war. The SS Panzer Grenadier Regiment 24 "Danmark" was destroyed with the "Nordland" Division during the battle of Berlin in April-May 1945."

I'm not sure just want your looking for Paul, but this may help.
"The Schalburg Corps, or in Danish, Schalburgkorps, was a Danish volunteer army corps and a branch of the Germanic-SS. It was named after Christian Frederik von Schalburg, commander of the Free Corps Denmark who was killed in action in the Demyansk Pocket in 1942. Christian Frederik von Schalburg did not have anything to do with the creation of the Schalburg Corps.
The Danish Germanic-SS was formed on February 2, 1943. On March 30 the corps was renamed to Schalburg Corps. Members who had not had any Eastern Front combat experience had to go through a six week political indoctrination and combat training.

*The corps was divided into two groups—he first made up of regular soldiers and the second, which came to be known as the Danish People's Defence, of civilians, some of whom were expected to provide financial backing. Members of the corps were used as a guard battalion to protect railroads and crossroads from sabotage.*(did the two use the same shield? Was said shield used only for these groups, or even just one or the other?)

In July 1944, the Schalburg Corps was incorporated into the SS as SS Training Battalion Schalburg. Six months later it was renamed the SS Guard Battalion Zealand. It was officially disbanded on February 28, 1945."
