The Spiess in a company wore the chevron on the lower sleeve, seldom seen in the original, and when seen, only seen here!
In the SS at arms this badge was or was not phased out in favor of the military style Kolbenringe.
For those who do not know what a Spiess is, it is the top NCO in the company, and Spiess drawn from the implement carried by such NCOs in the Prussian army of yore
to make sure there were no desertions.
We saw in Dr. CHM's research that his man Heinrich had been an NCO in the Rw, and the SSVT recycled a lot of ex military persons.

Wonderful dienstrock! Thanks to F-B and Mr. Delich for sharing it here.
I said it yesterday and I say it again today. Thank you very much for this FB. Again I learned something new... :-)))
That's a beautiful tunic.
Thanks to Mr.Delich an F-B for sharing images of this very beautiful Montur.
and in its time, it cost it present day owner exactly USD 200, so you can see that it is also worthless.
We thank David Delich for being such a pillar of our little band and sharing so without stint of his wonderful treasures.
And there is no fake RZM tag here, no shyster dealers, no storm and stress, nor some twisted syntax by persons upset by historical facts, which such persons find "isolating..."
