    It is a nice photo. It is clear Dietrich wore a considerable number and variety of SS caps.

    Also of note is that he is wearing Army-model cap eagles in the first photo (1st pattern eagle) and the first one in post # 6 (2nd pattern eagle).

    Such attempts at internal elitism and separation or, dare we say it, individualism within the SS were very much to Himmler's chagrin...
