Just had a load of mine and Lez's photos stolen to appear on a website in India which makes repro uniforms, complete with their watermark over them. Which is really adding insult to injury.

I am taking action against them needless to say.

    Cheers, Ade.

Problem is that anything you post becomes available to
    the on-line public.

I just searched google for 'original ssvt cap' and found
not only the same cap used on the first image of this
thread, but many more of yours FB, as well as a pic
of my own two SSVT buttons.........

It is not only my pictures that have been stolen for commercial gain, but those from other websites who sell their own uniforms, plus scans taken from books. All now with a watermark over them!

This is the dangers with sharing anything , people use it for their own gains . If and when I get my computator upgraded , I will put watermark on my photos . I did bring this up , sometime ago , putting a WRF watermarks on all posted photos , but it didn't seem popular among members . Best of luck Ade , hope you get some results .
And keep up the great work .
    Cheers Chris

I looked here, and many of the positives lead back to our site and to sound threads.

I post images of my collection to share them for the good of all.

It is collateral damage that the images are abused.

My real profession is very demanding of mental energy, and I will follow Adrian's lead as concerns prosecution and such.

My main goal here is knowledge in good company, and to make this site the source of images of authentic and rare material.

I would also like to be compensated for my expertise, especially by those who over burden this site without a polite return of effort.

    Wishes collide with reality.

Thanks to you all for your interest.

The books I write get plagiarized, too.....

I try always to cite my sources, and to do so with the pictures, too.
