Thanks. I had also wanted to make this point. When you look at the many interesting films from the 1950s made either by Germans or by Americans in Bavaria,
this fact comes out very strongly. The films are filled with authentic material.

right that the younger set needs some evidence of how it has unfolded. No one is inclined to believe the silly old stories of silly old men.
The collectors in my neighborhood, who imparted this all to me, had started prior to the second world war, actually.
They were in full force in the late 1960s, and shaped much of what I know.
The middle sixties and the UK I associate with Patrick McGoohan and his TV series which I watched at the time with rapt attention while I began to collect
Nazi regalia.
