I'd like to ask people here of there opinion about this jacket.
I asked before on the WAF but it's not clear enought for me.
About the shoulderBOARDS some people thought they added once the ''allgemeine SS twisted cord '' shoulderboards to this jacket ( 2 of them ) I wold like to hear what you think about this.

    Thanks!

    Kind Regards,

    Michael

IMHO that is a circa 39 year type of the Dienstbluse, a bit simplified in construction, and no any cloth tags found

I am not expert in this material. I am familiar with black uniforms. If this object is real, it is quite rare, but I cannot offer an assessment.

This jacket appears to show heavier wear and laundering than the piping. This would lead me to consider that the piping was added to make thie a SS jacket. This was my gut feeling from the images posted. Are there any indications of prior sewn on insignia?

It is a nice original drill tunic and worthy of restoration. It was up to the unit what, if any, rank insignia was worn.
