Estonian Field Blouse
Thought some of you might find this piece interesting, an Estonia SS-Unterscharfuhrer Field Blouse.
This item was purchased from Th Collectors Guild several years back. I've always found it interestinghow the SS had such hard line restrictions for recruits then towards the end of the war they would recruit almost anyone.

Sorry everyone I don't know why the photos post sidewise like that.
If you are uploading from a cell phone (usually iPhones) you need to rotate them (even if they look correct on your phone) and then edit them slightly (i.e. a small crop will do). This usually works but not always
The best way is to download the photos to your PC and follow the same steps above. (Rotate, edit and then upload direct from your PC)
It is not a forum software issue (most forums have the same issue) but the way the cell phone categorizes the orientation when the photo is taken.
Can't help with the uniform.

The embroidery has been added post manufacture of the patch, causing the bulge to the top edge.
I highly doubt this was sold by the collectors guild, whoever informed you of that may have been stretching the truth.
The Helmet is interesting as well , what is it supposed to be ?

The collar is trying to be the unpopular German produced sword and E variant.
It doesn't look like a German product to me, the locally produced stye was usually metal with arm with sword below E.
I don't know much about the helmet I just bought it and put it with the tunic because of the colors.

I bought it from the Collectors guild back in 2012.
The Coloured shield on the Helmet is why i queried it as it would appear to be trying to represent the Estonian National colours ???

As has been poimted out the Unit insignia patch is fake it doesn't fit in with any of the Dachau made versions , did you really buy this from the Collectors Guild ?
