As a newer forum member, I posted a very early 1934 SA canteen with an RZM question, and Herr Rietzel was kind enough to provide the answer. I did not realize at the time he was such the expert, I do now...vielen dank.
Thanks to you all for your very fine work on our site. You all have made this place into a beacon of light in the darkness.
Thanks to you for your fine work and what you have offered us here to our general benefit.
One of us has to find the papers of which ever US Army officer seized the RZM in 1945 and cleaned it out, then, in the years after.
That would be a good thing. In my time in USAREUR, it was the Army Air Force Exchange HQ, before the Munich garrison was down away with.
Meine Herren, es ist mir immer wieder eine Freude , hier vorbei zu schauen .....
Moment bitte ..
Gentlemen, It is always a pleasure to stop by here .....
Bravo. Mr. Rietzel's things are a miracle, and Wim's book on enamel wall signs is among my favorite from a staggering collection and our most genial authors.
