There are collectors or accumulators or otherwise beings who assert that all such Sonderanfertigung enlisted caps are, in fact, fake.
As a reminder, there were at least two types, ca. 1934 onward, a.) a cap with a waterproof cotton lining, and b.) the satin and or rayon lining, for extra wear.
