Thanks, I picked it up at a local flee market from a small military dealer. He was asking $400 for it, I just hope I didn't overpay for it.
I'll give you double for it
Boy sounds like I may have gotten lucky!
You got very lucky.
Cheers, Ade.

WOAH! The guy who sold it to me said that it was worth $600 but he would sell it to me for $400. I knew what it was but I thought $600 sounded about right but appearently not! He also claimed that his dad who worked at some warhouse in the 60's or 70's took it out of a crate filled with German things that they were going to burn.
We all have those stories. A guy who worked for me came up to me and said, "is this something you want?" It was WW2 Ribbons, American AND German. I said, YES! Where did you find these? He told me they were laying on the ground around the dumpsters on dump day. Who knows what went in?
Guy who owns a shop here in Grand Rapids had a kid come in with two SS daggers. Said that grandpa died and mom threw all the stuff in the dumpster, and he grabbed these two pieces because they were laying "on top". He told the kid to run back to the house, but the garbage truck already came.
