asking for help from the war relics community. In the photo's below is what i have been told is an SS Officers swagger stick. Stick has been broken but retains its original Eagle head and lightning bolts and is stamped on the base of the head. Any idea if it is genuine and if so its value and possible ID to its original owner?

    Thanks,

    Mike

Swagger stick.... Haha very original. To tell you the truth I can't see why it would be a SS officers walking stick ?

Agreed - It's an art deco design, not 'SS' runes.
A walking stick, but I really like it.........

    Oh dear Mike,

Who ever gave you that info is delusional. It's a busted ornamental shoe horn, although the 'Eagle' does appear to be hallmarked German silver, and the 'lightning bolts' being SS runes......well, the less said the better.

Here's something similar to cogitate on.
