Very nice images. Do read the Rothlaender book about these people. It is quite revealing. The large handkerchief will make more sense, then....

It is not a collector, picture book. It is a scholarly work, but it is one the best books I have ever read on the SS.
The work also underscores the terrorist character of the Austrian SS.
