The image is undated as near as I can tell. I have never been to the Topographie des Terrors site where stood the Prinzalbrechstrasse locale of the SS. I drive by the area ceaselessly and then go somewhere else, always in a hurry.
The startling thing about this part of the Berlin is how little of the government center buildings of the era remain, with the signal exception of the RLM building, which is larger than life. And, there is part of the Propaganda Ministry, too, intact, but only a part.
Here is another portrait of Heini H.
Have you gone to see the old museum buildings on the corner of Spandauer Damm and Schlossstrasse? Pretty faithful repairs and appearance to when it was the Fuhrerschule der Sicherheitspolizei/Charlottenburg.
I wrote a nice article about the school with an "After the Battle" format that was published a few years ago in "Military Advisor". It included period postcards of the buildings in the school and photos including the one you provided above that were taken from the period "Jederzeit Einsatzbereit". I hope the Prussian Photo Archive does not think it used the correct name of the school in the title.
