Info about panzer ss wrap with pink piping ??

Hello guys,

I would like to know if the ss panzer wrap with pink piping are only for em/nco
Tankist , or did officers also use it ?

The piped wraps were earlier issue, the piping was omitted on later wraps.

I know that it is early and done on a short period , but I would like to know if officers use pink piping or officer use only the silver one ?

Officially, W-SS officers wore aluminum piping around the collar of the tankers' jacket.

However, the men in your photograph are officers and appear to wear colored piping.

This may well be due to the fact that they are wearing army-model tanker jackets, which were widely worn in the SS. These had collar piping in branch color for all ranks (until the piping was discontinued in 1942).
