Unfortunately I do not know if the runes have to sit in the Center of the tab.
The runes in itself for me good and are spun from fine metal threads. Let's see what the others are saying.

the runes are supposed to be nice centered, but that is not a criterion to blast it off. I think the tabs stands a big chance, but as on most insignia, we need to see the backside of It.
Ok, I understand. I would also prefer to see the tabs from behind. I would like the tabs but not separate from the jacket, it will destroy the jacket.
