I have recently been handed down a few German WWII items and i have no idea whether they are real or fake

If i posted pictures would any of you guys be able to know?

Well its a mixture of reproduction and original items. There are more knowledgable members here than me but I might as well make a start. The Panzerkampabzeichen (first picture) is a fake. The Luftwaffe officers breast eagles look good to me. The Luftwaffe cap badge (second picture) also looks good, but is missing its fixing prongs and looks to have been badly repaired making it worthless. I quiet like the look of the shoulder straps and the Hitler Youth armband as well. I dont like the look of the SS runes badge. The RitterKreuz (the Iron cross with red black and white ribbon) also looks to be a poor quality fake.

Hi Sue, and welcome to the forum!

Looks like these were picked up in the 1970's in the UK going by many of the fake items shown.

Most of it is bad. I would agree with the guys on the Luftwaffe cap wreath. The should straps are all good. But I don't like the printed Hitler Youth armband at all.
