Re: M43
Then I am surprised as you will not find the tunic eagle in the book and would ask that you look again at the difference between the flat head and width of the diagonal feathers on the original Bevo eagle compared with that on the jacket.
I am with Hawkins - these are not the same.
As they say "the devil is in the detail"
I did a search to look for a similar copy eagle on the Forum but got bored as there were too many entries.

Re: M43
I'm sure i have seen a thread somewhere that had the exact eagle same eagle as on the tunic but it was a tropical eagle.
It was agreed to be a variant but genuine.
Cheers
Dave.

Dave,
With respect, do you think that you could find the post that you have alluded to in your post.
As previously stated, I did try to search the Forum for examples of sleeve eagles (good and bad) but this is not a tool that I use very often and I could not find a matching example.

Re: M43
Hello all,
the eagle on this tunic is a known original machine woven or Bevo pattern eagle, so 100% good! However, with those pictures I can't comment on the tunic itself but it doesn't look that bad so it could have a chance Based on the given photos I don't like the runic tab.. better photos are required
Best, Kevin

None of my books are currently assessable at this time, as I just purchased a home, some may know this and everything is still in boxes!!! I need to get on it, there is just not enough time in the day.
