Re: M44 Dot Camo tunic good ?
I am surprised that this is the first response that you have had re this tunic.
I like the look of the liner in photo 4 but as the tunic is so badly faded it is really hard to determine if it is real or not.
As there is no insignia on the actual bluse itself, you will never know the unit of the wearer and unless it came with additional information to substantiate that the owner was with "Deutschland" you will have to take the story with a large "pinch of salt" as such information is often added by some dealers' in an attempt to enhance the history, and therefore the price, of what they are selling.
Good luck.

Re: M44 Dot Camo tunic good ?
I have my questions about the tunic but cammo is not my area of collecting. I would seek other opinions, but I agree with Bochmann. Take items for what they are unless there is solid provenance.

Re: M44 Dot Camo tunic good ?
I think, the tunic is good... it looks worn, salty and faded in the correct way to me! Also the camouflage pattern looks correct to me!! It is a later war tunic because of the lack of the arm eagle... the earlier style erbstarn tunics had a arm eagle and loops for the shoulder boards...
