That's in exceptional condition Klaus. It might not be bulging with photos but any SS collector would be pleased to own that album.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

Not sure but they look like Japanese troops rather than kids to me.

Maybe not ss? The gloves look similar to the ones FB owns. Anyone know the question to this question, I am quite curious. May just be my lack of knowledge. The picture are not detailed enough for me to identify much.

When I zoom in, they look more Anglo to me. I also see no Japanese insignia nor would understand why they would be in a ss memorial album. It is possible, they were allies.

Re: Mint photo album SS-Standarte Deutschland
Marvelous item with images of Ludendorff's funeral in 1937 as well as what are likely Italian or some other Axis countries troops. I would think marine infantry, but I do not know Italian uniforms at all.
Thank you for the nice item. I have a uniform of a man who was likely in these images.

Re: Mint photo album SS-Standarte Deutschland
The loose fit white pants and the laced up leggings, as well as the cuff stripe with the loop above it look to almost certainly indicate a Naval or Marine, but from which country, I have no idea.
