My Hohenstaufen Grouping

For months now, i have been trying to figure out the car that my friend's father was driving. He said that he was driving a Horch and a Mercedes.
After a lot of research in the net i tend to believe that the one in the photos is a Horch, but i can't be 100% sure.
If anyone can help i would appreciate it.

It's possible the man started out in a Luftwaffe signals unit and transferred to the SS later- that might explain the extremely general nature of the SS disc. Since it was a branch change and not just a unit change, he was issued a new disc and just kept the old one.

Matt unfortunately the signals ERK has nothing to do with my friend's father. I asked him if he could send a letter to the WASt and get his record. They replied and he has no service within the Luftwaffe. I will post pictures of the letter and other family items tomorrow.

Yeah Nicos, it's the best items in my collection. A God sent gift.
In fact i could have never imagined that i would be best friends with the son of the veteran. He has a liqueur store (cava) here and every Saturday we have our drinks together. He gave me all the militaria belongings of the family that he has found at his home. From both grandfathers, the mother's cross of his grandma and he will also give me the panzergrenadier shoulder boards he was wearing while serving at the Bundeswehr.
