You guys are to kind, I actually find the look and style of these quite ugly, the only thing it has going for it is the history and condiction IMO.

A very nice looking fez. I have one with a grey leather sweatband with some a Muslim looking stamp.

I was watching one on eBay without the insignia a few months ago. It only sold for around $160. Someone got a great deal.

A gun dealer I know has a green one but it is missing the sweatband and the tassel has come unstitched and is loose from the fez. The insignia is nice and the body of the fez is in VG condition. He wants $2000 but I think he is way high.

Nice Fez Eric my collector friend has two of them a red and a green he took the red one and sold or traded it to a dealer over here in Missouri he gave me a shot at it but I am no SS man burned too many times but I have no doubts about either one of them as he got them from 45 Div vet locally several years ago and probably came out of Dachau. The red one has a sweatband like yours the green one has a sweatband similar to what was posted by I think Marc. They both had insignia and the tassel. timothy
