I agree that everything appears to be original material. Standarte 41 was from Berreuth. It is unusual to see collar tabs machine sewn as found on this tunic. I have always been under theimpression that the Russian film companies had drawers full of insignia as they stripped all of their tunics and added whatever they needed for the film they were making. A nice, clean Allgemeine SS tunic. Our colleague F-B is away from the computer these days but I am sure at some point, he will also chime in on this nice piece.
I agree with Bob's analysis. Bayreuth is the HQ of said unit. Very nice photography of said item.

Great tunic FB. Nice to see the machined sewn tabs. This can also be found on four pocket SA tunics.

New A-SS tunicFurther data. A pleasing image and one which ruptures un warranted generalizations, especially of those who have never seen nor, surely, owned such a tunic. Said tunic was once the property of Bob Coleman and Darryl Pajot before I bought it a decade or so ago.
It is not from the Russian Filmkostumfundus.

An update to the thread. Here is the tunic on display with a very nice August Mueller visor from my collection. The shirt is also original. The tie is a high quality reproduction. I hope you guys enjoy.

Can you please tell me how you display the tunic and visor combination like this? I have mannequin torso's and would like to do something similar with some of my headgear. Great looking ensemble!

    Thank you.

I was messing around with the camera today and wanted to update the thread with a final photo. The belt/buckle and cross strap rig all came back from the war together.
