Non-textbook uniform in wear

Hello everyone,

I just needed to share some pictures of that photo. This officer wears a privately tailored tunic with horn buttons, no shoulder boards and a black breeches. A great photo of a non-textbook uniform I believe. Can anyone please help identifying the ribbon bar he wears?

Interesting and quite strange. The horn buttons are very unusual, but not the only non-regulation aspect seen in this portrait, there are several other oddities:

There are no shoulder boards, no sleeve eagle and no NCO collar Tresse (he's not an officer, the collar patch is for the SNCO rank of Hauptscharführer).

Also, the SS runes and rank pips on the collar patch appear oversized.

I really don't know what to make of this photograph... A retouched image? An eastern volunteer whose uniform and insignia consist of improvised/locally made items?

Add : EK ribbon is in third buttonhole .
With this many obvious discrepancies ( especially oversized runes & rank ) , how about an actor in a 1950's or even period play / movie .. ?! Just a thought ..
