Original or fake Totenkopf

the reason why i ask is because the similar "M1/52" marking compared to the first one posted. I had never seen this type of broader M1/52 marking before.

Note that there are a few varieties of "M1/52" back die strike for aluminium. all the markings of "M1/52" on aluminium that i seen is of more slender lettering. here is an original one in advance collection :

If the first example is another variant marking type, it might be possible real. but to be sure, i will cross check with another collector whether he had seen this version before.

I will pass on this skull. the new owner will have to bear the burden of proofing to me it is real.

I quite agree. The weight of said burden is greater in this digitalized house of mirrors.

None of these is aluminum, by the way. They are quite rare, in fact.
