Scout, I see what you may be referring to. They are not doors but they are two SS wedding box's that it is believed contained copies of Mein Kampf. The books inside were given to SS members on their wedding day and the box's returned until the next SS man was married. I have read that about 200 of these wedding box's were made and very few survive due to the obvious SS markings. It took me many years, about 15, to find one and the second came to me at the SOS show two years ago. When you find one, they are usually $4,000.00 or so. I have not seen any others in the last couple of years.

I thought furniture doors since I ímagined seeing hinges on what ever the two book boxes are placed on.
I knew about the books being given, but I didnt know the books came in such ornate boxes.
What a catch. As you say, cant be many of those left.
