Not me, personally. These seem a bit fragile after all these years and I'm careful just making sure they sit on the display just right. My better half has some experience in conservation and she is always going on about the temperature and humidity in the collecting room. Knowing what these things cost, she would have a fit if I tried one on

Kinda of topic of the thread but I found a odd ball.

My first armband was debated on the forum for quite some time. The main reason was that most people have not seen anything like it. Well I found another with the same "issue"

Vertical and Horizontal ribbing of the black rayon on the armbands... interesting.

The second is my example, the first is the one I found online.

It is still a departure from the commonly encountered variant. Since there are still many to be had that conform to the norm, I would choose one of those to collect over this example.

I don't know if any of these riddles will ever truly be solved. For what it's worth, I don't dislike this armband.

I have a few of these now, but the riddle of the black rayon confused everyone from the textbook style... Now, I found another.
We can study history, but we will never know it all...

Dear Colleague, thanks. I have somewhat more material to work with you than do you, and likely less space. Nor have I ever devoted much to display resources versus the imperative to acquire more material. Thank you for the images of your nice things.
