It makes me wonder how many items have been disregarded, "Non-authentic" or "fake" and have been thrown out or what not because not everything is known or written in stone about these SS items.

It makes me wonder how many items have been disregarded, "Non-authentic" or "fake" and have been thrown out or what not because not everything is known or written in stone about these SS items.

Surely many things have been wrongly deemed as fake and or "not textbook" by a small number of overly energetic and poorly informed personages, who have wreaked havoc on the truth.
Some of this havoc is low cunning in order to clear the precious few water holes of newly arrived competition, which is shooed away by the more aggressive wild pigs in the herd.
Don't get me wrong, in fact, I am fond of wild pigs, but not of blowhards and know nothings with motor mouths who impart disinformation and maskirovka to the detriment of many people.

There are so many books to own....Your new one was one of a series reaching from the Frederician era until the III. Reich.
I first saw one of these SA/SS/HJ volumes forty years ago, and the Knoetel d. J. uniform pictures have their own special flair.

I have found a good website in Germany that has all of this at fair prices, since most of the III. Reich books have grown very costly in the usual places. I will post it when I can find it again. You know how such a thing is.
