These Trapezoid shaped insignias can be found in several styles:

Black wool embroidered as seen here. Usually found on "Dachau" find caps.
Black "Bevo" machine woven with a single row of teeth to the skull.
Black "Bevo" machine woven with a double row of teeth.
Rare very late war Black screen printed.

The same styles can also be found for the first three versions I mentioned, but on field grey for the regular, non Panzer, Feld Grau Einheitsfeldmutze.
