Default Question of the Latvia shields

    Hello
I met with the determination of Latvian soldiers to give at the end of 44 years shields, spoke sarcastically about them and determined them as "mourning for Riga". As the Red Army occupied Riga and Latvia joined the Soviet Union.
Do you know anything about this?
    Regards

I'm sorry I use a translator because my English is poor. Let me ask again
Apparently, the soldiers of the Latvian SS divisions arm shields called "mourning for Riga"
Apparently this was due to this that the Soviet Red Army marched into Riga.
    Is that true?

I have not heard that myself. Perhaps other people might be able to tell you more?

    Cheers, Ade.

Я писал об этом есть информация, что латвийские СС в 1944 году, который получил диск под названием "траур по Риге"
и спросил, если кто встречался с этим термином. Я уже подтвердили в книге латвийских войск.
