excellent news.

so value wise, i see those with ribbons for $700-900, cased for $1200-1300.

Whats one in this condition without a ribbon worth?

already went ahead and put it in my little medal case

Normally, these Long Service Medal ribbons have SS runes sewn onto them.
You should have no problem finding a plain blue ribbon without runes
for this medal.

If it's a good one, then I'd say it has to be at least in the $600+
range just the way it is. Great score............!
