Thanks for bringing this suberb find to our attention. Someones Christmas' all came at once!
I believe the cuff title of this pattern was introduced in 1939.
The tunic is circa 1943/44.
Cheers, Ade.

The material at the head of this file was found by someone on the other site and is not my property. I thought the images had merit and belonged here and thanks to said person for unearthing these items, but I did not buy them.

Thanks for showing. A wonderful find and the cap is still an interesting item, regardless of condition. I hope that it gets restored so it doesent continue to deteriorate.
Happy Christmas FB, did you get any new caps yourself?
Cheers, Patrick
Your new caps this year have been awe inspiring to say the least. I meant if you got a new cap for christmas. I have just finished looking at my new reichsbahn muetze. Which I am very fond of. I have a couple of caps I hope to find in the new year, though its going to be difficult.
Best, Patrick
Beautiful tunics, fantastic save.
Im am amazed with the quantity of items that are around, in need of saving.
Thank god these were.
Are they being sold or restored?
Cheers
Nuno

Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader
